Physical fitness is one of my greatest priorities

I like how my body feels and looks when I am in good physical shape. I know that I can continue to achieve these great results when I stick to my workout regimen.

I make it a point to reserve some time each day to exercise. My body responds well when I give it what it needs. On days when I need to wake up extra early, I fit a workout into the earlier part of the day. That allows me to relax at the end of a long day.

My mind is sharper when I allow myself to participate in fitness activities. I work more efficiently when I exercise.

Plus, I am more pleasant and accommodating when I make time in the day to stay in shape.

When I commit to physical fitness, I know I am contributing to my health. I appreciate the benefits that exercise offers to my overall well-being and am dedicated to maintaining that state.

I recognize that my body needs to be in good shape for me to perform at my best, whether as a leader at my workplace or at home as a parent. Working out keeps me fit and active so I remain effective.

Today, I remind myself of how much more successful I am when I keep my body in shape. I am a happier person when exercise is a regular part of my daily routine.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. Do I alternate my workouts to prevent boredom?
  2. Do I stress the importance of exercise to my growing kids?
  3. How do I know when my body is in need of some physical renewal?

Wellness is the natural state of my body.

My body and health are pivotal to my overall well-being. I realize that my quality of life is affected by my health. Because of this, I take care of my body and make healthy choices.

Wellness is important to me.

I choose healthy foods that nourish my body and avoid disturbing my mind. The nutrients I receive from healthy meals provide my body with the essential materials to maintain and heal itself.

Eating well is a big part of maximal wellness, but there are other components that are just as crucial.

I support my body’s efforts to be healthy by getting sufficient sleep. I aim to sleep for at least seven hours each night. Sleep rejuvenates my body and mind. I look forward to getting the rest my body requires. A full night of rest is a priority for me.

Exercise is another important component of wellness. I take part in thirty minutes of healthy exercise each day. My body craves exercise. It keeps my muscles toned and supple. My heart and lungs grow stronger with regular exercise.

My body and I take care of each other.

I am lucky to be alive. That knowledge propels me forward each day. I want to work hard, play harder, and live life to the fullest. In order to do all of these things, I take good care of my body. After all, my body takes great care of me.

I recognize that the more closely I pay attention to my body, the better my body sees me through challenging times. Considering everything my body does for me, taking special care to exercise regularly, eat right, and get enough sleep seem like a small price to pay.

I am thankful for everything my skin does for me. My skin is tough enough to keep out bacteria and viruses yet soft enough to make my body appear supple, smooth and healthy. My skin is strong but also pretty, and I am grateful for both attributes.

I am also appreciative that I can physically do whatever I choose.

When I drop something on the floor, I can easily bend over to pick it up. Sometimes, I want to perform hard physical labor like washing the car or scrubbing the sidewalks. I can do those things, thanks to the strength and flexibility of my body.

Today, I am grateful for how much my body takes care of me. I plan to continue to provide the very best care and nourishment for my body that I can.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. Do I take care of my body so that it will function well?
  2. If not, what sorts of things prevent me from taking good care of myself?
  3. How can I ensure that I will strive to take better care of my body?

I practice clean living

I focus on the word “clean” in all aspects of my life. It is my desire to continually practice clean living.
I want to have an environment of health and wellness for my mind, body, and soul.

I encourage myself to think clean thoughts. I endure mental turmoil whenever I allow negative thoughts to enter my mind.

I avoid wishing bad things on others. I know there are individuals who wish me harm, but it is my responsibility to respond in a healthy way. I forgive wrongdoers, and only wish them well.

My body is important to me. I keep it clean, both inside and out. I take care of my skin, nails, and hair regularly. I am conscious of what foods I put into my body. When I eat healthy, I know my body functions better. Since my body responds to whatever I feed it, I avoid unhealthy meal choices.

My soul is in a constant state of development. I work hard to ensure I am living in accordance with my beliefs. I avoid allowing hurt or resentment to dwell in my soul. I recognize that an unsettled soul resonates as loudly as spoken words.

Today, my aim is to get to the point of complete cleanliness. I know it is a work in progress. Unfortunately, distractions make this mission difficult to accomplish. But, I commit to taking it one day at a time.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. How does guidance from others help me to practice clean living?
  2. Why is it important to be honest with myself when I fall short of my endeavors?
  3. In what ways can I encourage my friends and family to think clean thoughts and treat their bodies well?
